The Crystal Lake Freemasons at Nunda Lodge #169 donated $250.00 to Scouts BSA Troop 127 of the Boy Scouts of America to assist in supporting their ongoing need for supplies and equipment. Troop 127 Scoutmaster Dan Raneiri accepted the check from Nunda Lodge #169 Worshipful Master Frank Richards. Troop 127 is graciously chartered by the Notre Dame Club of McHenry County. Scouts BSA is the nation’s foremost value-based youth program supporting approximately 1.2 million youth between the ages of 5 and 21. The Nunda Masonic Lodge #169 received their charter from the Illinois Grand Lodge in 1855 which makes them one of the oldest organizations in Crystal Lake.  The Masonic fraternity is an organization for men of good character with the explicit purpose of bettering themselves and their community.
